Daily Nintendo puzzles
The bot brings the daily puzzles from n-puzzle.com into your Discord: NintenDoku, the 3x3 grid of nine Nintendo games, and Perfect Game, where across three rounds you pick the game with the highest value. One message that gets updated every day, your players’ results, and a leaderboard that only covers your server.
Free. No account. No ads.
This is how it looks in the channel. How your players’ results appear is up to you: in the daily thread, one by one in the channel, or quietly just for the leaderboard.
NintenDoku is a 3x3 grid of nine Nintendo games. In Perfect Game, across three rounds you pick the game with the highest value: sales, user score, critic score. Both daily, and you can run just one of them.
Each puzzle lives in a pinned message that gets updated every day. The bot does not post again every morning and uses exactly one pin slot per game.
Players link themselves once with a button, then their results arrive on their own. You choose how they appear: in the daily thread, one by one in the channel, or quietly just for the leaderboard. Always spoiler-free.
Scores, streaks and personal bests only count inside your server. Plus a daily leaderboard and weekly, monthly and yearly recaps, each one switchable.
The bot never pings anyone unasked. The reminder role comes with the play button, and one click on that same button opts you out again. NintenDoku and Perfect Game each have their own role.
It stores the Discord ID, plus scores and the emoji grid. No display names, no message content, no member list. With /unlink anyone deletes their own data again.
Pick a server, confirm the permissions, done. Discord shows exactly the permissions explained below.
Add to my serverA short wizard walks you through everything: a channel for NintenDoku, optionally Perfect Game with its own channel, where results should go and which role gets reminded. If you like, the bot creates the channels and roles itself.
One button in the overview posts today’s puzzle straight into the channel. From then on that exact message is updated every morning.
Anyone who wants to share results taps "Play now" or runs /link once and opens the link. That is optional, playing works without it.
Every permission is listed with a reason. Anything not on this list is not requested: no member list, no message content, no deleting other people’s posts.
| Permission | What for |
|---|---|
| View Channel | Without it the bot cannot see the channel it is meant to post in. |
| Send Messages | For the daily puzzle and the results. |
| Embed Links | So the bot can show the puzzle as a formatted box with title, colour and categories, not plain text. |
| Attach Files | For the image of the daily puzzle. |
| Read Message History | So the bot finds its own message again and updates it instead of posting a new one. |
| Pin Messages | For the one pinned message. A separate permission since January 2026. |
| Create Public Threads | Only if the results should appear in a daily thread. |
| Send Messages in Threads | Only for the thread display, so the results land there. |
| Manage Channels (optional) | Only for the automatic setup: so the bot creates the channels for both games itself. |
| Manage Roles (optional) | Only for the reminder roles: so the bot creates and hands them out. |
| Command | Who | Effect |
|---|---|---|
/setup | Admins | Start the setup, then the overview of every step |

/help | everyone | What the bot does and how to join in |
/link | everyone | Get your personal game link, visible only to you |
/unlink | everyone | Delete your link and your own results |
/stats | everyone | Your numbers: days, best score, average, streak, hardcore |
/rank | everyone | Today’s leaderboard for this server |
/profil | everyone | Another player’s numbers in this server |
/feedback | everyone | Send me a note, it comes straight to me |
/remove | Admins | Delete all data of this server |
Nothing. There is no paid version of the bot, no advertising in its messages and no feature behind a payment. N-Puzzle is a one-person project, funded through the website itself.
Because it deliberately keeps no permanent connection to Discord. It only reacts when someone talks to it, and needs no online status for that. So it sits permanently greyed out among the offline members and still answers instantly. That is not a bug, it saves resources.
No. The bot runs on my infrastructure. There is nothing to set up, nothing to operate and no server of your own you would have to keep running.
From the server: the server ID, the chosen channels and the settings. From players: the Discord ID, the submitted scores and the emoji grid. Explicitly not stored are display names, message content and member lists. Discord renders names from the ID itself.
No. There is no sign-up at N-Puzzle. Linking works through a personal link that only you receive.
By default one updated message a day per game, plus your players’ results in the display you choose. If that is too much, /config switches it to "leaderboard only" or turns individual parts off. Only what you configure is ever mentioned. With nothing set, the bot never pings.
No. The daily message carries a button. Whoever presses it gets the reminder role, and the same button opts them out again. Without that click nobody is mentioned. NintenDoku and Perfect Game each have their own role.
Yes. Perfect Game is the second daily puzzle and available in the bot: its own channel, its own results channel, its own reminder role, switchable on its own. You can also run just one of the two games.
Either run /remove and then kick the bot, or just kick it. Both work, /remove is the more thorough route.
With /remove the settings, links and results of that server are deleted immediately, not just hidden. If the bot is removed without /remove, it notices that it can no longer post and cleans up by itself. To delete only your own data, run /unlink.
If the bot lives in your server, you can also build your own puzzle: your categories, your date, published on n-puzzle.com. Made for communities and streamers who want a day of their own. The quickest way to ask is right in the bot: after setup you will find the button “Request your own NintenDoku”. Or write to me here.
Ask hereMessages come straight to me, with no support system in between. A reply can take a few days, everything gets read.
